A sonnet plus one?

What follows is a bit of an oddity. This is a slightly shorter work which I converted into a sonnet not long ago. The quatrains had the form AAxA with the third lines not rhyming. It appealed to my sense of balance concluding with three lines (instead of the usual two) each one rhyming with the previously non-rhyming line, thus stretching the whole affair to fifteen lines instead of the usual fourteen.
