This one probably cannot be analysed outside of the context of its accompanying sonnet. Still it would be a difficult task for anyone but Browning. Or God.
Oddly though, there are many ways in which these both may be read; and yet, the intended meaning might be more difficult to divine than such as I more usually write.
On another note: I believe I shall not move sonnets around, except in rare circumstances. I think it will make things simpler. If I write sonnets in sequences that are interspersed with others, I can simply link them with a unique tag. This will make it seem less futile to insert the “next” links. Which, when I move things around, are rather a chore to fix, because they are not automatically generated. I suppose that would be the advantage of ftp access, or at least a professional theme. We shall see.

…on one of my posts, it is not only because I like it very much, but also, because I have decided I am finished, absolutely and positively, with any and all lucasing. (still, there may be prequels though)
Even givinn this, I still feel a bit funny or guilty clicking on my own work. But so far I haven’t gone blind. And anyway, I have found that if one wants ones own blogs to appear in ones “reader,” then one must “follow” one’s own blog as well. I have done so, and haven’t gone blind from that either.
Now, here’s where, if I were already blind, I would admit it. But upfront, I’ll let everyone know that that is not the case; I am not blind.
…regarding the introduction to this mornings post: Originally this was not written as a double or triple entendre, although, it clearly may be taken as such. I would venture a guess that anyone would be hard pressed to determine the original subject of this piece.
