Just take a good look at Greece. Modern, and ancient, for that matter.
In any event… this is the face of insomnia, and partly why the sonnet project began in the first place. I spend so much time awake while everyone else is asleep.

I spend 2 – 4 hours a night in sleep – I use this time to study hebrew, Greek, ancient cultural anthropology, watch Big Bang Theory, anime, bad mvoies, and…..play games. I’m sure i could spend my time better, but I leave that to you – you write wonderful things and I get to read them. thanks you for your non-traditional circadian rythm. And of course, being a great step sitter from childhood, I do that too. while the world sleeps, i watch the stars in their paths, snow falling, listen to cicadas and the rain drum against my umbrella. I watch the world of night and become part of that world.
