I wish this gentle rain
Would wash away all memory of travail;
Nary sadness would then remain.

I thought to make a short introduction to its companion. I hardly give any thought to these. They take a few seconds, however the sonnets may take hours.
At times, I write the introduction first, or take the introduction from some other work, then compose a sonnet based on it.
This one, however, was written after its companion sonnet was complete. Sometimes these, almost accidentally, can come out rather well. Sometimes they sound simply conversational except for their 5/7/5 syllable (or sometimes word, as in this case) construction.
Thank you very much for visiting my humble site.

yes, but you now sometimes the “accidental” ideas turn out to be the most brilliant ^^ my pleasure
