Because at that very moment of awe, I realized also–at that very same moment–that I had stopped believing a lie I had been told, and had accepted–at least, by default, never having thought much upon it, in the past–and was ashamed of that which ever I had, however unknowingly, accepted.
I understand the awe but why did it shame you?
